ARRESTANTENSTEUNGROEP AMSTERDAM

Calling all Marelec prisoners

On 4 March 2006 the Van Ostadestraat 137 in Amsterdam was evicted (again). It took four days for all the 24 arrestants to be released again. Some will have their courtcase shortly.

On 21 March 2006,14 people were arrested during the day because of the eviction of several squats in Amsterdam. Allthough they asked for their prefered lawyer they did not get her but a state-appointed lawyer. At 24/3/2006 all were released again. Some of them had a courtcase already on the 6th of April 2006.

To all; in the course of today, it became clear that the authorities are taking the eviction of the bilderdijkstraat 82-1 very seriously. An investigation has been started to find the people that were inside the house during the eviction.
We call on everyone NOT to speculate on the Who/What and where of yesterday and NOT to tell unnecessary stories in the bar, on the telephone or anywhere. If you hear people doing this, speak up!
We are not here to help the justice department or the police to do their job. The most likely way that they will find those people is through information that we (accidentally) supply them. sssshht!!!!

There is now also an Arrestantengroep in Utrecht

On Saturday 25th of March 2006 the Running RioT Training Day in Amsterdam. Arm yourself against getting arrested, being interrogated and other forms of repression and practice in defending yourself and your fellow activists
