The Utrecht Arrestanten Group!

Utrecht now has her own legal team for advice, support and practical aid for
people who get arrested at lefty/anarchist actions. Just like Amsterdam,
where a permanent Arrestanten Group have been active for years.
We are offering ...
Because there aren't a lot of us yet and we want to organize ourselves
calmly and thoroughly, we are not yet available permanently. We offer help
(a ready-made arrestanten group, lawyer contacts, legal advice before,
during, and after the action etc.) for groups or individuals from the
Utrecht region who contact us at least two weeks in advance. If the action
is outside of this region or if we are notified less than two weeks in
advance we can't make any promises but we will do our best to see what we
can do.
We are still looking for ...
People offering active support are very welcome. Experience with arrestanten
groups (legal teams) or knowledge of Dutch law is not necessary at all, you
can learn it as you go along. How much time you want to contribute is up to
you. If you don't want to join but you do want to help when needed, you can
put your name on the back-up list.
